About Us

The mission of this organization

is to prevent cruelty to animals,

 relocate them to nurturing

 environments,

and educate the community

 regarding proper treatment and

care of animals.

Most all of the adoption dogs at ANGEL Animal Rescue have been rescued from neglectful situations, abusive homes, and/or from the dog pound.  Most were to be euthanized (put to sleep).  Not all of our adoption animals are pictured on our website.

All dogs must pass a temperament evaluation before we accept them into our program.  They are wormed, vaccinated, and started on preventative heartworm medication.  While each dog waits to be adopted, they are house broken and taught courtesy manners.  They are trained in obedience and on our underground fence system.  Every dog is socialized to a variety of domestic, farm, and exotic animals.

We guarantee satisfaction.  We do this as a nonprofit service to the community.  If you do decide to adopt a dog it allows us to rescue another.  If you are interested please give us a call to set up a time to visit. If you are unable to adopt a dog but are interested in helping out, we are also in need of volunteers for walking, grooming, training, fostering dogs, puppy outings, and other care.  Please Email us and let us know that you'd like to help.

Obtaining Our Goal

We take a holistic approach to all aspects of animal rescue, healing, rehabilitation, sterilization and relocation.

Rescue encompasses the identification and acquisition of animals in need by live trapping, collection, or forfeiture by owner.

Healing of the animal includes immediate health care, immunizations and preventive care, and continued healing in a safe, clean and relaxing environment.

Rehabilitation is extensive and involves socialization, obedience training, and nuisance behavior modification.

All dogs and cats are either spayed or neutered before they are placed up for adoption.

Relocation begins with a thorough evaluation of the animal to identify the ideal new home.

Thank you,

Nicole and Scott
